As a pet owner, it is your responsibility to take good care of your pets, to make sure they lead long, healthy lives. Frequent exercise can help extend your dog’s lifespan, and can also prevent certain diseases that are caused by being overweight, such as diabetes and heart conditions. Since dogs won’t run laps on their own volition, it is up to you to take the lead.
